Coffee at Carillon - and tickets for sale

Just got back from rehearsal for Kindly Leave the Stage - and now busy organising posters and ticket sales etc. Tickets are available at the drama club coffee morning this Saturday at Carillon Cottage in Wadhurst High Street, so come along between 10.30am and 12 noon and have a coffee, chat and bag the best seats. They'll then be on sale at Carillon Cottage, open Mon-Sat (closed Wed & Sat afternoons) for £10 including food. Alternatively if you can't make it there, you can buy tickets here on the website - just click on 'Box Office' and select the day and number of tickets etc.
Hope to see you for coffee on Saturday!

AGM kicks off another lively year at WDC

AGM on Wed went pretty well. WYTKidz came along to see Lucinda receive her award, swelling the ranks and making lots of positive contributions (as well as eating all the crisps and chocs). Lots of interest in doing a musical/ pantomime - so what we need now is a director and musical director. I'm sure they're out there somewhere. If anyone knows of someone who would like to take on lots of very keen, fine voiced thespians for January 2012, please put them in touch with WDC.
Blackadder kicked off too with first rehearsal going well on Monday, but the spotlight now is very much on Kindly Leave the Stage, an excellent comedy on stage in just over a month. Any helpers are very welcome. Tickets are now on sale here on the website - just click on Box Office and away you go.

Coffee and walking

Not an obvious combination - but what's coming up this weekend. Saturday 4th is coffee morning at Carillon Cottage from 10.30-12. I can't be there this month as I'm off to see the Big Cats at WHF with a friend for her birthday. But if I don't get fed to the lions I shall be walking on Sunday 5th with Oscar (the dog, of course). Led by John Bush, we are meeting at a layby on the Mark X to Frant road, and may pop into the pub for a drink and a bite after our 2 hour walk - nothing strenuous, but undoubtedly very pleasant. If you need to know more, ring me on 01892 783384.
